Style up School Uniforms!

Believe it or not, there's always a way to make your school uniform stylish. Check out the ways to make your uniform look from boring to beautiful
Ties:
Some schools have ties, some don't. What to do is make your tie quite loose (Not too loose) and undo a few buttons of your shirt .
Skirts:
If you have a really high skirt, have high grey or black socks with little bows on that reach up to your knee or higher on to get that Cute look.
If it's colder, wear some black (Patterned or non patterned) tights under a skirt LOWER than mid/high-mid thigh. If it's any higher, you will look like a slut, which you really won't want to.
Hair:
For that sporty look, tie your hair up in a high ponytail, and leave bits of hair on the sides. If you have a fringe, you can leave that out.
Tie your hair in a rough, loose side plait for the 'cute' look. Add a few pins if you want.
Accessories:
Very  few schools allow accessories. When it comes to fashion and school, you have to break some rules. Get some simple fabric braclets from shops like claires or you can make your own. Dont let them go low on your arm. Roll up the sleeves of you jumper to show them off. When a teacher comes, roll down the sleeves and act natural ;)
 Make-Up:
You need to be more careful with make up. It's easier for the teachers to see. If you want to go natural, get some normal coloured nail polish and apply to your nails, put on faint blush and lip gloss. If you really want, put on some light eyeshadow and mascara-but not too much.

With these tips, you'll look awesome at school. Try to avoid the teachers as much as possible. If you do somehow manage to get a detention, don't blame me.

Everyone's either breaking up or having babies in Hollywood right now clearly. Two people who's newly single and ready to mingle are Robert Pattinson and Katy Perry, and earlier this week they met over dinner! Katy was talking about her second humiliating breakup in the last 12 months, and Rob was very understanding, talking about how he feels today after Kristen Stewarts big cheating scandal.

The two super celebrities "tried to keep a superlow profile" says a witness. "She was jokey with him and a little touchy-feely. They were flirting". "Katy would secretly love to land Rob", says another source. "But she won't admit it. They've been friends for about five years. Katy's been checking in with Rob, just to make sure he's doing all right", says one of Katy's friends. If these two got together that'd be like the best thing EVER! Such a super couple, and we guess they both need comforting now...

Spice Girls Reunited At The Olympics Closing Ceremony!

This was so NOT what we expected! During the Olympics Closing Ceremony in London five London cabs drove onto the stage, and guess what fantastic five jumped out of them? Spice Girls! Wow, we haven't seen them performing together for SO long, and this time everything was just FANTASTICO! It was glamour, super awesome and of course- filled with girl power! They sang 'Wannabe' and 'Spice Up Your Life' to a cheering crowd and they all loved it!
 

OMG! Miley Cyrus Has Cut Off All Her Hair!

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE MILEY?! We've always loved Miley Cyrus' gorgeous hairstyles, but what happened here? Miley recently posted pictures on herself with a platinum blonde pixie haircut, and it's reeeeally not very flattering... But what about you, did you like Miley better before or after the haircut?

Perfect Nails

1. Moisturize your cuticles on a regular basis. If the cuticle is too dry, it can become cracked and look ugly. After moisturizing, push the cuticle back gently with a rosewood stick.

2. File your fingernails in the shape you want. Some people like them round, others prefer them to be a bit square.

3. Use a polishing file to give your nails a smooth surface. The first step of a three-step polishing file is to even out the surface. The resulting dust is then removed, and third step is to polish the nail to a shine.

4. Now apply a base coat of nail varnish. This step is a must to protect the nail from staining. The base coat also strengthens the nails.

5. Perhaps you'd like to have white nail tips? In other words, a French manicure. Then this is what you have to do: Nearly every chemist sells white varnish for nail tips. Varnish for a French manicure can either be bought in a practical set or as individual products. The tip of the nail is then painted with a brushstroke of white varnish.
Careful: Continuous "brushing around" will not give you a perfect result. It's better to apply just one stroke of white varnish starting at the outer side of the nail. The coat will then not be unnaturally thick. If you would like a really perfect brush stroke, it's best to use a stencil that can be bought at most chemist's. Important: Do not remove the stencil until the varnish is really dry!

6. Now the whole nail - including the white tip - is given a third coat of varnish. Either rosé, transparent, or cream. Once this coat has dried you can apply another coat if you like.

7. For the final finish, a gloss varnish or top coat is used. And you can also add some nail decoration.

Honey-Sweet lips

I've got something for you here: A mini-mask especially for your lips! 
And this is what you do: Take liquid honey and dab a little on your lips. After 10 to 15 minutes, rinse the honey off with lukewarm water. This will give your lips some extra care and will make them lovely and soft. 

Tip: You can also take a dab of honey as a substitute for lip gloss. Honey is shiny, and it smells good, too
 ;-)

Careful with the colour

But these two tips will help you to choose the right nail colour for you...
1. Consider your skin tone! If your skin is very pale, you should use soft shades. If your skin colour is normal, you can take something a bit darker or brighter. And if you've got dark skin, you can use really dark or bright colours!

2. Always think of what you are wearing! Bright nail colours go well with dark clothing. And light, soft colours are best with light clothing.

Checks for your nails

You need: Nail varnish and a tooth pick. 
This is what you do: Paint your nails as usual and, before the varnish dries, use the tooth pick to draw two lines across the nail and two lines down, to create a little checked pattern. 
Alternative: Paint your nails as usual and let them dry (!). Take a different coloured nail varnish, dip the tooth pick in it, and draw lines across and down your nail to a create a little checked pattern.
You can also try different patterns and pictures like hearts, flowers, rabbits (Credit given to Gracey Grapey for that idea)

Nude Look

You need: Concealer (masking cream), foundation (make sure you have the right skin tone!), powder (preferably a bit lighter than your foundation), and rouge (ruby red is particularly effective). 

And this is what you do: Dap some concealer under your eyes and rub in gently with your ring finger. Then apply your foundation slowly and evenly with a cotton wool pad (tip: first test the foundation on your neck. If it's the right colour, it will blend in with the rest of your skin). Use powder to fix your foundation. Apply it with a powder brush. Last of all, lightly apply some rouge to the highest point of your cheek and spread it diagonally upwards .

Smoky Eyes

Many people think that all you need to do to have smokey eyes is to apply black eye shadow to your eyelids and black mascara to your eyelashes, and there you are. But that's not enough! Here are some tricks for you to create real smokey eyes! It's not so difficult and it looks terrific! 

First of all you need to apply a white base coat to your eyelid. The inner corner of the lid that points to your nose, is painted white with a little brush. The colour then gets progressively darker towards the outer part of the lid. 
After applying white, take a little light grey and smudge it with the white, but make sure both colours can still be seen! Then do the same with black. 
Once this first step has been done, it's time for the eye liner! Beginners should use black kajal. Those with more experience can use black eye liner. Draw a thin line from the inner corner to the outer corner as close to the edge of the lashes as you can get. (Remember NOT to cover your whole eye lid with eye liner!)
 Now take an eyelash curler to give your lashes a terrific curl. Now all that's left is to apply black mascara to your lashes - and enjoy your smokey eyes!

Robert Pattinson moves out on Kristen Stewart

British actor RPatz left his Twilight co-star Kristen, 22, after she cheated with married director Rupert Sanders, 41. The couple had been together for three years after meeting on the set of the vampire saga (Twilight) and have a £4 million Los Angeles home. Kristen was caught 'Making out' with British dad-of-two Rupert last week in the car says the witnesses. A source said Robert, 26, is “heartbroken and angry”, adding: “I’m not sure they’ll be able to recover from this.”
Kristen has already issued a grovelling public statement, she said: "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected.
"This momentary indescretion has jeopardised the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry." And now she is to write a grovelling personal apology to Liberty Ross — the model wife of Rupert, who directed her in Snow White and the Huntsman.

What can you say, hard working Lady Gaga wants nothing but the best and is therefore planing on spending her fortune on a massivie building project in Crete, Greece. The plan is to build a house that appears to be floating in the sea. How is that going to happen?! Sourses say that "It's right on the water and appears to be floating, so anyone wanting a gander will only be able to see it if they go by boat." Smart move Gaga! Like a floating home was not enough, Gaga wants to splash out on even more property on the land she bought last year. "Besides the palace and church, the project will also include a tennis court and two pools." says the insider source.The source adds "It has ended up costing over $72m for the whole development and that's only so far. Extra costs are sure to mount up." In 2010 it was rumoured she was considering getting married on the Greek island with her boyfriend at the time, Luc Carl.

We previously reported that Justin Bieber has filed a harassment complaint against one of the paparazzi who chased him down an L.A. freeway a few weeks ago. The Biebs, who was driving around in his silver chrome sports car, claimed that the guy chasing him was a maniac on the road and put several lives in danger. News are in that the photographer might be facing one year in jail! The man who drove after Justin in a speed way above the freeway limit could be the first person charged under a new California anti-paparazzi law! The law is brand new and prohibits paparazzi from endangering people while trying to shoot photos or video. Could Justin be going down in the history books as the first ever victum of this anti-paparazzi law?

Kim Kardashian is really working this Beyonce friendship to its core! She is going all out and even bought Beyonce's daughter, Blue Ivy, a $5,000 on a diamond studded bracelet which she had engraved with "Love Auntie Kim." Say what?

Even though it seems that Beyonce can tolerate Kim, she isn't too thrilled that Kim is trying to buy her friendship and the "Auntie Kim" thing is taking it a bit too far, right?! Sources say that Beyonce, "believes Kim is trying to buy her friendship through her daughter, and she’s cooling to their friendship. Right now, Beyonce is on her guard. She’s keeping her distance until she feels more trusting of Kim."

But not only are they getting married in the near future, they're also planning on having a baby real soon! "Miley and Liam really want to have a baby real quickly", a source from Miley's family reveals. Rumor has it that Liam wants to be just like his brother, Chris, who's already a family dad at the age of 28 and had his first daughter in May. Well, can you picture Miley being a young mom? We sure can't!

The Color Of The Year: Mint!

    

 This spring the hottest colour is definitely mint green! And don't expect the colour to just be big in spring, it is The Colour Of The Year. Everything from hair to nails to clothes to shoes is mint! We've spotted some of our favourite celebrities rocking this trend

How to rock the look:

1) wear white trousers/shorts with a simple white top. On top, wear a long mint coloured cardigan with lots of necklaces so it's not too simple. You can roll up the sleeves of your cardi and slip on lots of funky bracelets. Wear some mint flats to complete the look.

2) Get a mint & white dress like the one above or just plain white and wear with a mint leather jacket. Roll up those sleeves and put on a few bracelets and a multi-chain necklace. Top it off with some mint heels. 

3) For the professional look, get a mint blazer, a simple black sleeveless top and a white/black/mint skirt. Add some mint or black heels, gold hoops , a white multi-chain necklace and a chunky pastel coloured bracelet.

The Biebs Graduates High School!

I bet you guys forgot that Justin Bieber used to be a regular high school student, who still needed to get his diploma! Well, last Thursday, The Biebs was just like every other teenager- he finally graduated high school! He didn't attend the ceremony, but his name was listed at St. Micheal Catholic Secondary School in Stratford, Ontario. Justin hasn't announced any plans to attend college, but he doesn't really have the time anyways. Anyways, congrats Justin!

Eeek!! Exams!!

Ahh!!! Exams are coming up either this week or next for most people (I know, Scary!!!) But remember, for most people they're just practice. (For years 7, 8 and anything below. If your in a higher year, go ahead and panic) 

Some people have loads of subjects to study for (Mee!) and you might not think you can't stuff all the information in your head. Well, try making little cue cards for the subjects. 

It REALLY helps instead of just flicking through your book tying to find the stuff. BE ORGANISED!! (That's what i have learnt about 2 days ago when i had realised i hadn't revised for Maths -.-)

When you go for your exam, ALWAYS  bring a water bottle. You get 10% better marks apparently (Don't blame me if I'm wrong)     

Just remember:   STAY CALM AND DON'T PANIC!

Lady Gaga features in a brand new trailer promoting her upcoming appearance on The Simpsons. 

The 'Marry The Night' star will voicing herself on the popular FOX animated series, in an episode which airs later this month and serves as the finale to the show's 23rd season.

Lady Gaga's animated counterpart will reportedly wear a total of 18 different outfits in the episode.

The new trailer shows her character wearing both the infamous meat dress from the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards and her flaming conical bra from her 'Monster Ball Tour'.

The 'Born This Way' singer is currently in Tokyo on her new 'Born This Way Ball' world tour, and was pictured arriving into Narita international airport earlier this week sporting multi-coloured streaks in her hair.

Colourful fishtail braid

We love the look of fishtail braids! This trend is incredibly easy to style, even on your own hair.




Here's how to style a fishtail braid... 
1. Part your hair into two even sections.
 2. Take a small strand of hair (preferably from underneath so that it wraps around the entire seciton) from one section and bring it over to the other side. Make sure your strands of hair aren't too large, or it will look more like a regular braid! 
3. Do the same thing with the other section.
4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 until the braid is finished.
 5. To make your braid a little more full looking, lighting tug the edges of the braid to widen it.





1. Tie yarn to one layer of hair at the root. We teased the roots a little bit to help the yarn stay. 
2. Braid the pieces in with the same technique as seen above. Be sure to vary the colors of yarn. 
3. Trim pieces of yarn and tie off with yarn.
